Al-Qassam: We are committed to the Gaza Agreement and its timetables as long as the enemy adheres to them
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, announced on Monday that it will adhere to the agreement reached for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in the Gaza Strip and the timetables associated with it, as Israel has committed to.
The Brigades said, in a statement, “The agreement reached is the result of the steadfastness of our people and the steadfastness of its resistors, and we declare our commitment to the agreement reached and the timetables associated with it as long as the enemy commits to that.”
She added: “The resistance has always been keen to stop the war of extermination, and has sought to do so since the first months, but the enemy has thwarted all efforts for its narrow calculations, and to satisfy the Nazi government’s instinct for brutality and revenge.”
She continued: “The enemy has failed to recover its prisoners through military pressure, despite its intelligence superiority and the surplus power it possesses, and here it submits and recovers its prisoners through an exchange deal, as the resistance promised from the beginning.”
The Al-Qassam Brigades considered that, “The Nazi occupation could have brought back most of its prisoners alive many months ago, but it continued to procrastinate and be arrogant, and preferred to have its army kill dozens of them as a result of the failed military pressure policy.”
